WITCHES' HEX

 

The witches of MacBeth can represent a host of literary ideas. However, in this particular setting, the three witches are conjuring spells and curses envoking their magical abilities.  The winding vocal and piano writing captures the sinister incantation and invocation of powers beyond the mortal world.
