LUX VIVENS
 

Throughout our lives we search for direction and meaning.  At points, it can seem like we are wandering aimlessly and have lost where we are going.  These are the times when we look for a light to steer us back on course and remind us why we do what we do.  “O Light” is a prayer for that life to appear to us.  The opening melody is prayerful and reflective, splitting into two parts halfway through the full statement – representing the search for guidance.  As the other voices join, the urgency increases, but like on a cloudy, the clouds part and the light is shown, illuminating the path.
